ECCD System Act of 2025 – Primary law governing Child Development Centers.
Key Provisions: Mandates CDCs in every barangay. Professionalizes CDWs and CDTs. Requires accommodations for children with disabilities. Establishes Child Find System.
R.A. 11650
Inclusive Education Act – Mandates inclusive education for learners with disabilities.
Key Provisions: Right to inclusive education. Reasonable accommodations required. Prohibits discrimination. Requires IIPs.
R.A. 6389
Foreign Gifts and Grants Act – Governs receipt of foreign donations.
Key Provisions: Must notify DFA and NEDA within 30 days of receiving foreign donations. Annual reporting to SEC required.

Turtle Pose (Earthquake)
Drop, Cover, Hold. Taught through play, not fear.
Step-by-step: 1. "Drop like a ripe mango" – drop to knees. 2. "Find your shell" – crawl under sturdy table. 3. "Tuck and hold" – cover head/neck, hold table leg. Song: "Mangoes fall when ready, we drop when ground is shaky!"
Firefighter Crawl (Fire)
Stop, Drop, Crawl like a snake.
Step-by-step: 1. "Freeze like a statue" – stop immediately. 2. "Drop to the ground" – lie flat. 3. "Crawl like a snake" – crawl low to avoid smoke. Obstacle course practice.
Hide & Hush (Lockdown)
Hide in safe corner, be silent like mice.
Step-by-step: 1. "Find your hiding spot" – designated safe corner. 2. "Hush like a mouse" – completely silent. 3. "Wait for all clear" – teacher gives signal. Sensory kits available.
High Ground Heroes (Typhoon)
Move to highest area, stay together.
Step-by-step: 1. "Water goes down" – look at floor. 2. "We go UP" – move to designated high area. 3. "Stay together" – hold hands or stay with teacher.
Safety Selfie
After every drill, we celebrate with a group photo.
Purpose: Signals "emergency is over, we are safe." Turns fear into celebration. Children pose with thumbs up. "I am safe. I am brave!"
Inclusive Education for All

We Welcome Children With:
Autism Spectrum Disorder (Level 1): Children with ASD Level 1 are fully integrated. Accommodations include: visual schedules, PECS, social stories, sensory breaks, Safe Corner, noise-canceling headphones, weighted lap pads, and shadow teacher if recommended. IIP reviewed quarterly.
Global Developmental Delay (mild-moderate): Extra support in communication, motor skills, and daily living. Accommodations: task analysis, extra time for transitions, simplified instructions, visual supports.
ADHD: Structured routines, movement breaks, positive behavior support. Accommodations: preferential seating, fidget tools, timed activities, clear expectations, immediate positive reinforcement.
Speech and Language Delay: Communication support through: PECS, choice boards, "First-Then" boards, modeling and prompting, extra wait time. Coordinate with Speech Therapist.
Down Syndrome (mild): Modified instructions, visual supports, extra time for tasks, sensory-friendly environment, shadow teacher if recommended. Focus on independence in self-care.
Our Inclusive Services:
Individualized Inclusion Plan (IIP): Written plan developed with parents, teachers, and therapists. Includes: strengths and challenges, specific goals, accommodations, behavior support, quarterly reviews.
Individualized Safety Plan (ISP): Addresses emergency drills. Adaptations for earthquake, fire, lockdown. Assesses elopement risk. Reviewed annually.
Shadow Teacher Integration: For children requiring 1:1 support, parents may hire a shadow teacher. Academy provides: workspace, integration, supervision. Monthly coordination fee: ₱1,000.
Visual Schedules and PECS: Visual schedules show daily activities. PECS allows non-verbal children to communicate via picture exchange. Choice boards and "First-Then" boards available.
Sensory Breaks and Safe Corner: Designated "Safe Corner" with dim lights, fidget toys, weighted lap pads. Children may request a sensory break when overwhelmed.
